I love late nights on airports. Twice I’ve slept over on Helsinki’s iron chairs and once at Gatwick on a complete stranger’s lap. I’ve spent a night on Dubai’s lavish first class terminal trying to find the jacuzzi and have been fed cake by Air Egypt on Cairo’s excessive international departures lounge. Tonight I’m in Cape Town’s, and all these experiences have suddenly popped into my mind to remind me why I love to travel.
