Damien Hirst doodle he probably used to pay a cab driver for a ride sells for £4,500 ($7,134) at last Saturday’s International Autograph Auctions in London.
Though it should be mentioned that the Hirst drawing didn’t fetch as much as the Marilyn Monroe photo and autograph, which sold for £20,088 ($31,847) at the same auction.
It’s so nice to see two pop culture stars battling it out in the auction room.
Btw, it should be mentioned that the Hirst drawing was in a book with other autographs by the likes of Alan Bennett, Julie Walters, Alastair Campbell and Ricky Gervais.
